Possible bilateral cooperations between Austrian and Turkey in the field of science and technology

No cultural agreement exists between Austria and Turkey so far (for the Austrian cultural agreements cf. www.bmaa.gv.at/culture/abkommen.html.de).

Turkey is bilaterally, multilaterally and regionally involved in different cooperations in the field of research and science. Bilateral cooperations are adopted with the help of agreements between governments or between TÜBITAK and foreign institutions. TÜBITAK is the Turkish scientific institution which is responsible for EU framework projects. The chairman of the department of international cooperation is Dr. Cetin Gülovali.
